Dr Zabin Kassam is the principal dentist and owner of Maple Dental. She brings together extensive clinical experience, advanced training and a genuine commitment to highly personalised patient care.

Zabin has a long standing passion for dentistry. She started working in the profession at the age of 17 in various capacities, where she witnessed how good dental care, can have a significant impact on people’s confidence and health. She pursued her career at the University of Sydney’s post graduate program where she graduated (2006) top of her class and was awarded a medal for her excellence in all components of Dentistry.

Since joining the practice and becoming its owner, Dr Zabin has continued its long tradition of trusted family dentistry while shaping Maple Dental into the progressive, comprehensive practice it is today. Her philosophy is centred on prevention, biologically conservative dentistry and treating the person—not simply the tooth.

With advanced training across laser dentistry, implant dentistry, orthodontics, airway and sleep dentistry, Dr Zabin has a particular interest in using modern diagnostics, technology and evidence-based techniques to provide thoughtful, minimally invasive care. She is committed to continual learning and believes that exceptional dentistry comes from combining clinical expertise with curiosity, careful listening and an understanding of each patient’s individual needs.

Above all, Dr Zabin values the relationships she builds with her patients. For her, dentistry in addition to crafting smiles is about helping people feel informed, comfortable and confident in their care—and being a trusted part of their health journey for many years to come.
